The Tesori of Canusium received the Oltre Award this year, in recognition of a long path of growth and commitment in the food sector.
What was born as a dream, a challenge, proved to be the greatest of the successes, with the aim of making one of the Apulian symbols known: the tarallo.
The beginning was not easy, starting off as a small artisan company with few resources, but now, years later, Apulia Food has more than 50 employees.
The passion that has animated the company since its first steps is the same that, still today, pushes to produce something new and innovative, like the burnt-wheat taralli or the handmade line, faithful to the recipe of the past, that of grandmother Sabina which is still used today.
The strength of a dream, of a project and the will of an entrepreneur have ensure that a simple idea could develop into something more. But without the employees, that are the engine of the whole company, this project would still be in its infancy.
For this reason, the Oltre Award is also dedicated to them, to the employees, who work tirelessly every day to allow the project of the Tesori of Canusium to remain not only a dream, but to become a reality, which makes our products and our traditions known in Italy and in the world.
